Cryovac® CNP-310 Post-Pasteurization Bag

The first post-packaging heat-treatment bag specifically designed for smoked & processed products

Having applied our cook-in bag technology to post-packaging heat treatment applications for many years, we’ve used that experience to develop a bag that combines the heat tolerance of a cook-in bag with the merchandising attributes of Cryovac® Barrier Bags. Processors benefit from the extended shelf life and extra margin of food safety afforded by post-packaging heat treatment, without sacrificing product appearance.

• Ideally suited for ready-to-eat, deli products like roast beef, turkey breasts and half-hams sold by the pound.
• Will withstand 210° F for ten minutes
• Deliver the outstanding gloss, optics and skin-tight shrink required for the retail meat case display.
• Offers high-speed sealing, ink adhesion, and abuse resistance processors depend on.
• Available in side-seal, curved-seal and straight end-seal bag types.

Cryovac® CN-500 Series Cook-in Materials

Two high-performance, multi-layer non-adhesion structures for cook-and-ship and cook-and-strip applications

Cryovac® CN-500 Series cook-in packaging materials are designed to greatly improve yield and protect product quality throughout the processing and distribution cycle. They are operable on existing equipment systems, providing immediate production efficiencies and operating economies.

CN-530 Cook-in Bags and Casings

• A non-adhesion material specifically developed for cook-and-ship packaging of oven prepared turkey breast, whole birds, corned beef and whole muscle beef.
• Also can be used for packaging consumer-ready microwavable products.
• Shrinkable and has excellent oxygen and moisture-barrier properties.
• Withstands high cooking temperatures (over 200°F) so it can be used for post-pasteurization of pre-cooked product.

CN-590 Cook-in Bags and Casings

• Similar to CN-530 except that it is a non-barrier material designed for cook-and-strip applications.
• Can be stripped off easily in one piece for slicing applications

These multi-ply, non-adhesion materials provide exceptionally strong heat seals that withstand high cooking temperatures. Both are available plain or printed, in standard or shirred form, and can be heat-sealed or clipped.
